GOFO is seeking two Warehouse Shift Team Leads for our sorting center in Herten, Germany. You will lead shift teams, manage staffing, monitor productivity and sorting accuracy, and ensure on-time handover to pan-European carriers.

Fluent in Chinese with German/English communication will help coordinate with on-site and HQ teams. Responsibilities include operations management, KPI tracking, process optimization, safety compliance, and cost control.

Responsabilidades

• Site Operations Management: own daily warehouse and sorting center operations, ensuring safe, stable and efficient performance.
• Workforce Planning and Team Development: plan staffing, recruit, and build a motivated site team across shifts.
• Capacity and Volume Planning: forecast parcel volumes and plan capacity, staffing and equipment for peak periods.
• KPI Management: define and monitor throughput, on-time departures, sorting accuracy and cost per parcel; drive corrective actions.
• Process Optimization: continuously improve processes, layout, automation, and equipment usage to cut errors and costs.
• Site Safety and Compliance: ensure adherence to German labor law and health & safety standards; promote a strong safety culture.
• Carrier and Partner Coordination: align with pan-European linehaul and national last-mile carriers on schedules and service levels.
• Budget and Cost Control: prepare and manage the site budget; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Reporting: regularly update regional management and HQ on KPIs, costs, and improvements.

As our business continues to expand, GOFO is looking for two Warehouse Shift Team Leads to join our sorting center in Herten, Germany. Our German site performs national-level sorting for our pan-European last-mile delivery business. In this role, you will lead a shift team on the sorting floor, plan and allocate staff, monitor productivity, cut-off times, and sorting accuracy, and handle on-floor exceptions, ensuring that parcels are processed on time and handed over smoothly to our pan-European linehaul and last-mile delivery partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Site Operations Management: Take overall responsibility for the daily operations of the warehouse and sorting center, including inbound, sorting, outbound, and exception handling, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient operations.
• Workforce Planning and Team Development: Plan workforce requirements, lead recruiting, and develop the site team, including team leads, operators, and temporary agency staff, building a strong and motivated organization.
• Capacity and Volume Planning: Forecast parcel volumes and plan site capacity, staffing, and equipment accordingly, including the preparation and execution of peak season operations.
• KPI Management: Define, monitor, and drive key performance indicators such as throughput, on-time departure, sorting accuracy, and cost per parcel, and lead corrective actions when targets are at risk.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve operational processes, site layout, and the use of automation and equipment to increase productivity and reduce errors and costs.
• Site Safety and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with German labor law and occupational health and safety regulations, and maintain a strong safety culture, 5S standards, and proper equipment management on site.
• Carrier and Partner Coordination: Coordinate closely with pan-European linehaul carriers and national last-mile carriers and partners on arrival and departure schedules, capacity, and service performance.
• Budget and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the site budget, monitor operating costs, and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Reporting: Report regularly to regional management and headquarters on operational performance, KPIs, costs, and improvement initiatives.

• 承运商及合作伙伴协调：与泛欧干线承运商及德国本地末端配送承运商、合作伙伴紧密协作，协调到发车计划、运力及服务表现。
• 预算与成本控制：编制并管理站点预算，监控运营成本，持续挖掘降本增效机会。
• 工作汇报：定期向区域管理层及总部汇报运营表现、KPI、成本及改进项目进展。

Requirements:

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management is required. Experience in a parcel, express, or e-commerce sorting hub is preferred.
• Proven people management experience, including leading large operational teams across multiple shifts.
• A data-driven approach to management, with strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with WMS systems.
• Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) language skills together with good German or English communication skills are required for communication with the on-site team, local partners, and headquarters.
• Knowledge of German labor law and temporary staffing (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Herten, Germany.
