WHAT TO EXPECT
In the context of this professorship, you will teach and conduct research into drive systems at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, focusing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electric drive systems. In addition, you will also be responsible in basic courses in mechanical engineering.
You will conduct most of your teaching in the bachelor’s and master’s programmes at the sites of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in German, but also some in English, supporting FH Münster’s internationalisation strategy in the process.
You will also conduct research in an attractive environment; acquire and supervise application-related research projects; and get involved in transfer and continuing education activities.
You will play an active role in our university self-government.
Your expertise is founded upon studies in a subject related to mechanical engineering - a recognised doctorate completes your profile.
You have gained extensive, practical professional experience in the field of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric drive systems in mobile or stationary applications in an industrial environment.
Every stage of the drives’ life cycle should be within your area of expertise, including design, integration into systems and machines.
You are able to present complex technical interconnections in an understandable way and ideally already have experience in teaching.
