The Vice President and GM, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Sales, is a pivotal Intel leadership role responsible for overseeing business development, marketing, and sales functions across the entirety of EMEA.

This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and partner closely with Intel's senior leadership and act as spokesperson for the regions in EMEA. This position holds a significant responsibility for Intel sales consumption and direct billings in accounts across the entire region. Additionally, the role encompasses partner and channel sales and broader operational oversight in EMEA.

The successful candidate will be the voice of the customer into the organization, constantly providing feedback and input from the market to sales, product, and engineering to ensure the best solutions for Intel's clients as well as embracing a very strong customer focus.

In collaboration with Intel's engineering teams and regional sales peers, the VP EMEA Sales influences Intel Business Units and engineering teams on product roadmaps and strategies, leveraging commercial results and customer feedback from the region. As the overall commercial leader for Intel in a major region, this role is crucial in driving the business from strategic, financial, commercial, and operational perspectives, while acting as the spokesperson for Intel across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the strategy, go-to-market, and organizational structure as Intel continues to diversify and innovate its offerings in EMEA.
  • Provide direction for achieving revenue targets for the region and identify future growth opportunities across multiple categories/product areas, including cloud, connectivity, AI, Intelligent Edge, and high-value solutions.
  • Manage relationships between Intel and local government bodies in EMEA, collaborating closely with Intel's legal, policy, and government relations teams.
  • Collaborate and execute on a strategic vision for Intel EMEA, with Intel's Executive Team across multiple functions, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations, Foundry, and Business Units, providing critical regional perspective and aligning with Intel's global goals.
  • Manage executive-level relationships across Intel's extensive customer base, including consumption, billings, partner, channel, and fellow travelers.
  • Accelerate change across the industry by working with ecosystem partners to bring Intel products and solutions to launch, readiness, and execution.
  • Increase revenues and penetration of current customers and potential prospects by co-creating solutions with potential customers.
  • Develop plans and strategies in close alignment with the CRO to fulfil the team's mission:
    1. Develop and implement pan European strategies and plans to stay relevant as a company across the region and in support of corporate goals.
    2. Orchestrate complex operations across multiple countries and cultural boundaries, ensuring that appropriate commercial, technical and logistical contacts are established/maintained within every potential and existing client organisation and that these develop strong relationships.
    3. Ensure effective communication between all functions to achieve synergy between teams.
    4. Communicate the strategy to ensure understanding and support throughout Intel Europe.
    5. Interface with Intel senior management team across geographies and functions.

  • Versed in different business models and sales channels and a strong understanding of the operational process/systems to support successful implementation of same. Ability to bring new products to market in an intensely competitive marketplace, using modern strategies, creativity, and a willingness to take risks.
  • Experience across end user and IT environments strongly preferred. Comfortable in large scale enterprise environments with heavily matrixed structure, that is in a continuous transformation.
  • Strong understanding of commercial compliance and governance.
  • Large team management experience, transforming organizations and developing talent; track record of successfully collaborating with C-level or GM executive teams.
  • Proven track record of success in developing long term strategic partner relations.
