Zusammenfassung

Role Overview

The VP, Data Operations &Governance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing theend-to-end lifecycle of investment data across the CEPRES Platform. This roleleads global data operations and analyst teams, driving the collection,processing, validation, and delivery of high-quality investment data whilecontinuously improving efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.

The VP will focus on optimizingdata operations to meet evolving client and business requirements, ensuringprocesses, workflows, and data delivery capabilities support a high-qualityclient experience. This includes establishing KPIs and SLAs to maintainconsistent quality, productivity, turnaround times, and service performanceacross global operations.

The role is also responsible forbuilding and developing a high-performing global organization, fosteringaccountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Byleveraging process improvements, automation, and scalable operating models, theVP will drive operational effectiveness while ensuring CEPRES can supportincreasing client demands and business growth.

Working closely with Product,Engineering, Commercial teams, and senior leadership, the VP will act as a keybridge between client needs and data operations, translating clientrequirements into scalable operational solutions and data delivery enhancementswhile ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and service.

Experience with privatemarkets or financial data is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Data Operations & Quality
  • Lead anddevelop a high-performing global data management organization, including dataanalysts and operations specialists, ensuring the capabilities, processes, andaccountability needed to deliver high-quality financial data and operationalexcellence.
  • Driveoperational performance by managing KPIs and SLAs that support clientrequirements, data quality standards, delivery timelines, and overall serviceexcellence.
  • Lead thealignment and standardization of operational reporting, KPI definitions, andperformance measures across the data organization, ensuring consistentperformance tracking and continuous process improvement.
  • Establishscalable processes and tools that ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness,and timeliness across all datasets.
  • Optimize datamanagement processes from end-to-end within the data value flow to increaseefficiency and reduce cost.
  • Create aculture of continuous improvement, using KPIs, and automation to optimizeworkflows and elevate data quality.
  • Drive adoptionof documentation, standardization, and best practices across the data analystfunction.
  • Ensure fullcompliance with data governance, privacy, and security frameworks
  • Build and runKPI driven data flow and quality measurement systems that optimizesproductivity serving as a basis for senior management reporting.
  • Develop capacity and workforceplans aligned with business demand, ensuring the right organizationalstructure, skills, and resources are in place to support growth.
  • Ensuresuccessful execution of contractual commitments by overseeing service deliveryperformance, monitoring compliance with agreed SLAs and obligations, andproactively addressing risks to client satisfaction and business outcomes.
Technology and AI
  • Drive adoptionof emerging technologies, including LLMs and GenAI tools, to improve dataquality, automation, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Partner with tech,product, and business leadership to prioritize data initiatives and ensuretimely, high-quality delivery.
  • Establish andenforce data governance, quality, and security standards across all systems andteams.
Governance, Quality &Compliance
  • Driveinitiatives to measure and improve data quality, consistency, andcompleteness.
  • Implement andenforce data governance policies, data access controls, and lineage trackingwhile ensuring CEPRES’ strict data compliance and security regulations.
Stakeholder Enablement &Collaboration
  • Serve as astrategic partner to product, engineering, commercial, and executiveteams.
  • Provideinternal and external stakeholders with the tools, documentation, and trainingneeded to work effectively with data.
Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent, MBA in financeand related subjects in place
  • 10+ years of relatedexperience in data operations, stewardship or Data Strategy, governance and/oranalytics, with 5+ years in a team leadership role.
  • Strongunderstanding of data pipelines and related technologies and software deliverylifecycle processes.
  • Good grasp onthe new LLM technologies and practical application to data products andworkflows.
  • Proven abilityto manage custom, client-facing analysis and project delivery in a financial orB2B environment.
  • Solid grasp ofdata privacy and security standards in terms of data governance
  • Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills with both technical and commercialstakeholders.
  • Strong projectand operational management capabilities, with the ability to prioritizecompeting demands, manage risks, and drive continuous process improvement.

  • Background in privatemarkets, asset management, venture capital, or investment data.
