PulseRise Technologies is looking for a voice AI focused engineer who can own projects end-to-end, make core product decisions, and drive velocity. You will build reliable, scalable systems and tackle novel problems in Voice AI, scaling to millions of daily calls.
The role requires strong fundamentals in distributed systems, the ability to ship on day one, and a bias for action in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment. On-site in Berlin with relocation support.
This is a role for engineers who care about velocity and solving real customer problems. You won't just ship code - you'll own projects end-to-end, make core product and technical decisions, and shape the trajectory of the company.
Build reliable and scalable systems and own critical parts of the core infrastructure
Solve novel problems that come from working with Voice AI and scaling to millions of daily calls. Evaluate different models and ensure we push the limits of the technology for our customers. If you're an engineer who has worked with distributed systems and loves pushing AI models to their limits - this is for you
Every 10 minutes, 18 million conversations happen between businesses and consumers around the world. For decades, the consumer side of those conversations sucked: long queues, robotic menus, repeated explanations, and unhelpful advice. Most people today still can't simply say what their problem is in natural language when communicating with businesses.
AI changes that. For the first time, companies can have natural conversations with customers at massive scale. Every B2C company - from energy providers to telcos to insurers - will use AI agents to talk to their customers. The number of conversations businesses will handle is going to explode in the coming years.
We're solving the challenges that come with that shift. Leading B2C companies like Sky are already using our platform to deploy thousands of voice agents and deliver a genuinely new customer experience. Building a first voice agent is easy - getting it to drive real outcomes for customers and businesses is the hard part. We help companies build, deploy, and improve consumer-facing AI voice agents at scale. This will become one of the most important software categories of the next decade.
We are a small, AI-pilled team that likes to solve hard problems. In engineering, product, or GTM - we build, experiment, and move fast, while heavily leveraging the capabilities of AI models. We take real ownership, challenge ourselves, and keep a low-ego culture.
The ideal candidate is an engineer with a proven 'I'll figure it out' mentality and a strong bias for action, evidenced by side projects, entrepreneurial ventures, or clear ownership of significant projects in past roles. They must have strong engineering fundamentals and experience building or debugging reliable, scalable distributed systems. Specific AI/voice experience is less critical than the ability to tackle novel, ambiguous technical problems with speed and ownership. The culture is extremely fast-paced, high-trust, and 'AI-pilled'. They ship to production on day one without code reviews. Candidates must be energized by a high-agency, 'act, then fix' environment and close collaboration, not intimidated by it. They are looking for people obsessed with solving problems, not just building cool tech.
