Eine führende Forschungseinrichtung in Dresden bietet ein duales Studium in Strahlentechnologie an. Das Programm dauert 3 Jahre und beinhaltet praktische Ausbildung sowie theoretisches Wissen. Die Teilnehmer bereiten Vorschriften vor, überwachen Messtechnik und arbeiten mit radioaktiven Materialien. Gute Leistungen in Naturwissenschaften und Englisch sowie Motivation sind erforderlich. Nach Abschluss der Ausbildung sind die Absolventen häufig als Ingenieure in verschiedenen Industriebereichen tätig.

Qualifications

• Gute bis sehr gute Leistungen in den Naturwissenschaften und Englisch.
• Motivation und eigenständige Arbeitsweise.
• Gute Kommunikations- und erklärungsfähigkeiten.
• Bereitschaft, mit (radioaktiven) gefährlichen Substanzen umzugehen.

Responsabilités

• Begleitende Tätigkeiten im Bereich des operationellen Strahlenschutzes.
• Erstellung rechtskonformer Vorschriften (z.B.: Strahlenschutzanweisungen).
• Überwachung der Messtechnik, Ergebnisse erfassen und auswerten.
• Durchführung von Abschirmberechnungen mithilfe eines PCs.
• Deklaration radioaktiver Rückstände und Abfälle.
• Professionelle Vorbereitung und Überwachung des Betriebs eines Ionenbeschleunigers.

Training contents

• accompanying activities and processes in the context of operational radiation protection (measuring, monitoring, checking, consulting)
• preparing legally compliant regulations (e.g.: radiation protection instructions, approval documents)
• supervising measurement technology, recording and evaluating results
• carrying out shielding calculations with the help of a PC
• declaring radioactive residues and waste
• expertly preparing and supervising the operation of an ion accelerator

• willingness to handle (radioactive) hazardous substances
