A leading industrial gases company in Germany is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance demand forecast accuracy and support business intelligence initiatives. The position, based in Düsseldorf for a duration of 24 months, requires a Master’s degree in Business Engineering or Computer Science, and prior experience in BI or data analytics. Based on an existing BI-Report you proof and increase the demand forecast accuracy. You act as a Solution owner for the delivered BI dashboard and critically review the existing assumptions for the demand forecast. Together with R&D you apply machine learning algorithms to continuously improve the forecast accuracy
Based on an existing S&OP Dashboard you will continuously improve the forecast accuracy and visualization of the data so it can be effectively used during the S&OP meetings. You animate the data owners and hosting counterparts (GDO) to deliver data on time. You will also be responsible for the Data Quality within your perimeter.
You analyse results (identifying patterns risks opportunities) and turn them into information and comprehensive analysis that will offer ways to improve the business and thus affect decision making; you help create new analysis methods data collection & modelling processes.
Based on clear requirements offered by the group you will implement test and prepare the process for S&OP for NCE and liaise with the data owners in the several departments.
You will build a solid business expertise in the heart of Air Liquides business covering production distribution business control and the energy markets and in the industrial gas sector while simultaneously advancing your technical data analysis skills.
Master degree in Business Engineering or Computer Science.
Have a first successful experience as a BI or data analyst within industry tech or consulting sectors.
