Job Description: In order to support the Digital Transformation within the Industrial Site Donauwörth, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a VIE - Data Analyst/Data Scientist within production (d/f/m) You are a highly motivated graduate (d/f/m) and want to get to know the work of a Data Analyst/Data Scientist (d/f/m)? We look forward to you supporting us in the Digital Transformation department as a Volunteer for International Experience.

Location: Donauwörth Start: as soon as possible Duration: 24 months

Definition VIE The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Applying ad-hoc Data Analytics to get insights on production activities and share the results with relevant stakeholders.
• Identification of use case in the context of big data, AI and digitalization.
• Deploy AI Use cases using Red Hat Openshift platform.
• Specify and develop reportings in close collaboration with the business.
• Replacing Excel base "Business Owned tools" by state of the art and fully automatized solutions using Palantir Foundry, Redhat OpenShift AI and TIBCO Spotfire.

Desired skills and qualifications

• University degree in the area of Data Science, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering (with a focus on Data Science/AI) or an equivalent field of study.
