Personio is seeking an experienced video content creator to own end-to-end production for engaging, high-performing formats. The role emphasizes hands-on shooting and editing across platforms, with a focus on compelling storytelling and cinematic expression.

You will collaborate with marketing teams across regions, lead new formats, and manage both the creative and logistical aspects of production, including budgets, shoots, and vendors. English fluency required; German a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Own video production end-to-end: you conceive, shoot, edit, and help to publish high-performing short- and long-form video, taking a rough brief or business goal and running with it, even when the known isn’t known.
• Launch courageous new formats: you experiment with new formats and approaches, helping write the next chapter of cinematic expression at Personio.
• Partner cross-functionally: you work closely and partner with content marketers, growth marketers, regional marketers, and campaign owners.
• Move fast and spot trends early: you ship at high volume in a short-form environment, catching emerging formats and platform shifts before they're cringe.
• Direct and support the wider team: you help colleagues across Marketing and the business bring the things they want to film to life, and hold a creative bar on footage you didn't personally shoot.
• Manage the full production pipeline: you scope budgets, run shoot days, and coordinate vendors and freelancers, playing the role of creative producer with ease.

What You Need To Succeed

• You have 5-7+ years of experience creating video content, with a track record of standout, original work and a portfolio that proves it.
• You're a hands-on operator with a track record of championing new and diverse formats — as a creative producer, videographer, or creative director, or some combination of the three.
• You've likely worked in a social-first content or brand team, agency, or B2C environment, with a track record of standout, original work rather than simply executing someone else's brief.
• You have hands‑on craft and technical fluency, shooting and editing in tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, or other industry-standard (including AI‑enabled) tools.
• You can structure a concept into a script, treatment, or narrative arc — not just execute one someone else wrote.
• You're fluent in English (German is a plus), and hold a high bar for visual and storytelling quality, while knowing when to ship rather than over‑optimize.
