AxiioTek is seeking an experienced Broadcast / Event Technology Engineer to join a dynamic technical team supporting live productions, events, and studio environments. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot broadcast and intercom systems, plan IP networks, and ensure smooth live operations.

The ideal candidate has a vocational qualification in Event/Media Technology, strong knowledge of IP and SDI infrastructures, and proven hands-on troubleshooting skills across high-pressure productions.

Qualifikationen

• Formal vocational training in Event Technology, Media Technology, or a similar technical qualification.
• Experience in broadcast or event technology is advantageous.
• Hands-on knowledge of camera tech, signal routing, IP/SDI infrastructures, and broadcast systems.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and fluent German/English communication.

Aufgaben

• Set up, dismantle, and operate event and broadcast technology.
• Prepare technical projects including equipment planning, pre-production, and IP network planning.
• Configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot broadcast, routing, and intercom systems.
• Provide technical support for live productions, events, and studio environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, technicians, and external service providers.

• Completed vocational training as a Specialist for Event Technology, Media Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
• Professional experience in broadcast or event technology is advantageous
• Practical knowledge of:
• Camera technology and camera matching
• Signal routing
• Live production
• Broadcast and routing systems
• Solid knowledge of modern IP- and SDI-based broadcast infrastructures
• Experience with system configuration, testing, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting
• Ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure live production environments
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• A proactive, hands-on and pragmatic approach to technical challenges
• High level of flexibility and commitment
• Strong willingness to travel
• Fluent German and English communication skills

Your Responsibilities
