I am representing a well-established chemical manufacturing organization with global over 750 employees, currently hiring a Vice President of Procurement to take ownership of all sourcing and supplier management functions. This is a remote position with monthly travel (2-3 days/month) to their European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee a global procurement function managing a spend of over €900 million annually across raw materials, indirect spend, and CAPEX. You will lead a high-performing team across Europe and Asia, with responsibility for sourcing strategy, supplier risk, ESG compliance, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire global procurement organization, including strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for critical chemical inputs such as alkylphenols, polymer additives, and specialty intermediates.
• Drive supplier negotiations, ensuring optimal commercial terms, supply assurance, and compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, finance, and logistics to align procurement with business needs and innovation pipelines.
