Responsibilities

• Support the certification and flight authorization of drones, hypersonic systems, and spaceplanes (unmanned).
• Analyze certification requirements and derive requirements for the design, verification, and operation of hypersonic aircraft.
• Collaborate with the relevant aviation authorities for certification and airspace integration and create new certification procedures where necessary.
• Support testing and verification of applied design standards.

Profile

• Strong background in Systems Engineering, Flight Safety and Certification Standards.
• Several years of professional experience in EASA Initial Airworthiness, EU UAV drone law (desirable).
• Knowledge of various aerospace standards (ISO 9001, ISO 9100, etc.).
• Knowledge of aerospace safety and certification requirements (ARP4754, DO-178C, DO254, etc.).
• Experience communicating with aerospace certification authorities (desirable).
• Excellent analytical and interdisciplinary skills.
• Fluent English; German desirable.
