VC Stack in Berlin is seeking a Visiting Analyst to assist in the early-stage investment process focused on AI and frontier tech. You'll identify founders, conduct market research, and analyze products. This role is ideal for those passionate about tech and startups.

Overview

As a Visiting Analyst, you’ll be embedded in our early‑stage investment process, helping identify, evaluate, and support Europe’s most ambitious founders, especially in AI and frontier tech. This is a hands‑on role for someone technical, analytical, and passionate about startups.

What You’ll Do

• Deal Sourcing: Identify and engage with early‑stage founders building disruptive tech, especially in AI.
• Technical & Product Analysis: Evaluate product prototypes and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Market Research: Deep dives into emerging sectors (AI‑native devtools, synthetic media, etc.).
• Internal Strategy: Contribute to investment memos, theses, and trend mapping.
• Portfolio Support: Assist in founder support and portfolio management.

Job Requirements

• Technical background (ideally in AI/ML).
• Analytical thinker, proactive, self‑starter and independent.
• Exposure to building in AI/ML through a previous role, research, or personal projects.
• [Bonus] Experience in high‑growth start‑up environments or another VC firm.
