Job Responsibilities:

• Design, development and deploy VB.NET application
• Write stored procedure using MS T‑SQL. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, data transformation.
• Develop ETL logic to transfer data from SQL server to other Database platforms (DB2 desirable)

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

• VB.NET and SQL Server skills.
• VB.Net development experience required (Windows Form/EXE development, WCF Service).
• Strong experience related to writing stored procedure using MS T‑SQL and relational database structure
• Complex SQL operations (Joins, data aggregation and grouping, data transformation)
• Strong Transaction, temp table utilization and T‑SQL knowledge
• MS SQL Server Database optimization, query and database job optimization
• Experience with data transfer from SQL Server to other Database platforms (DB2 desirable)

Desired:

• Database migration (SQL Server upgrade/migration) experience.
• Data modeling/normalization/denormalization experience.
• Data transfer and ETL (SSIS, DTS, Replication Services, QLIK).
• Experience with Power Shell Scripts is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
