Transdev is Hiring a Junior Privacy & Compliance Referent (VIE) – Berlin, Germany
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day compliance processes, including the handling of compliance-related notices.
- Conduct business partner due diligence checks (KYC) and help strengthen our third-party screening practices.
- Draft compliance and data protection policies, standards and procedures, translating regulatory requirements into clear operational guidance.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects with a compliance and/or data protection focus.
- Prepare and consolidate team reporting to the French parent company.
- Provide targeted support to our senior specialists, ensuring operational continuity while they take on additional departmental responsibilities.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Political Science or a comparable field.
- Initial experience in compliance or data protection, through internships or work placements is desirable.
- Good knowledge of German (minimum B2) is essential; English is used for reporting to the French parent company.
- Rigorous and detail-oriented, with the ability to draft precise, structured documents.
- Discreet and trustworthy, comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Autonomous, reliable and collaborative, willing to travel occasionally (2 to 3 times a year).
Your Destination
Based in Berlin, you will join the Privacy & Compliance department, a close-knit team of five reporting to the Head of Privacy & Compliance / Ethics & Compliance Officer Germany, under the CFO.
The team covers the full compliance and data protection scope for Transdev in Germany.
This VIE assignment is for a duration of 12 months.
