Job summary

AVATR Global Design Center is seeking a UI Motion Designer to craft high-end in-car interfaces with expressive motion, light design, and 3D elements. You will shape a premium motion language and collaborate across Germany and China on future mobility concepts.

You bring 5+ years in motion/UI/interaction design, a strong portfolio, proficiency in After Effects, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, and fluency in English; German/Chinese is a plus. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, UI design, or interaction design for digital products.
• Self drive and autonomous working style with direct reporting
• A strong portfolio showcasing motion work: 2D, light-based, or 3D animation with a refined aesthetic
• A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense for premium, elegant, and emotionally engaging design
• Proficiency in tools like After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine is a plus)
• A solid sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
• Strong collaboration and communication skills (English is must, German and/or Chinese is a plus)
• Degree in Motion Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Game Design, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in automotive, connected products, or high-end tech design
• Nice To Have:
• Background in real-time environments, lighting design, or interactive storytelling
• Familiarity with cross-cultural teams or experience working internationally
• Passion for shaping future experiences beyond traditional screens
