Zusammenfassung

Mercor is hiring experienced Musicians to evaluate generative musical AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will assess model outputs across in different categories of music in your bilingual language.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years as music producers, audio engineers, and/or sound mixers, plus a college degree in music and proficiency in Turkish and English. Start date is immediate; project runs up to 6 months with 10+ hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer.
• Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate AI model outputs in lyrics, voice generation, and other musical standards.
• Rate and annotate songs using a structured taxonomy for genre, structure, and vocal/instrumental traits.
• Score quality of musical training data across categories of music.
• Compare AI-generated music samples head-to-head for musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, and production/mix quality.
• Understand directions in English language and operate in bilingual Turkish/English context.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards


• Score quality of musical training data


• Experience writing music in the domain language listed in the title


• Able to understand directions in English language


• Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology


• Annotate songs in detail: genre/sub-genre classification, song structure, vocal/instrumental characteristics via a structured taxonomy

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer for at least 3+ years


• Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics


• College degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyrics


• Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title


• Native or near-native proficiency in both Turkish and English
