Sigma .AI seeks a linguistics-focused freelancer to join its global data annotation team. You will categorize, annotate, correct, transcribe, and evaluate multilingual data with Turkish as a primary language.

Work is remote via an online platform, 24/7 access, and a commercial freelance contract. Excellent English, native or near-native Turkish, and steady attention to detail are essential. This role offers flexible hours and continuous learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Languages, Literature, or related field.
• Turkish native or near-native proficiency with excellent English listening and writing.
• Strong grasp of linguistic theory, grammar, and language structure.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Computer literacy preferred but not required.

What Will You Do?

As part of our linguistic projects, your responsibilities may include:

• Categorization
• Annotation
• Correction
• Transcription
• Evaluation
• Conversational interactions
• Voice recording
• Content creation
• Localization
• Validation of audio, video, images, sentences, or words

All tasks are remote, performed through an online platform available 24/7.

This opportunity is offered for freelancers under a commercial contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Languages, Literature, or a related field
• Linguist with native or near‑native proficiency in Turkish
• Fluent in English with the ability to accurately listen and write with excellent spelling and attention to detail
• Solid command of linguistic theory, grammar, and language structure
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Computer literacy (Preferred, but not mandatory)

Preferred (but not mandatory):

• Experience in data annotation or content rating
• Strong attention to detail

Technical Requirements

Computer:

• Minimum 4GB RAM
• Microphone and webcam

Operating system:

• Windows 10 or higher
• macOS 13 Ventura or higher
• All OS updates installed and supported by the vendor

• Stable internet connection
• Headphones
• Secure internet location, protected by a strong password
