Weltec Engineering in Dresden seeks an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join our project team. You will safely transport M&E materials and equipment to sites, supporting construction operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, keep accurate paperwork, and ensure loads are secured. A Category C license and ability to work in Germany are required; we offer career progression and ongoing training.

Qualifikationen

• Valid EU / German driving licence must include Category C.
• Ability to work in Germany.
• Experience driving rigid trucks in construction/industrial environments.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate a company rigid truck (Category C) transporting M&E materials, tools, plant and equipment to/from construction sites, suppliers and depots.
• Drive locally and regionally in line with German road laws and EU regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects as per procedures.
• Secure loads and ensure compliance with load restraint/weight regulations.
• Maintain delivery docs, tachographs and basic transport paperwork.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join our project team in Dresden.

The Rigid Truck Driver supports M&E engineering operations by safely transporting materials and equipment to sites using a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate a company rigid truck (Category C) transporting M&E materials, tools, plant, and equipment to and from construction sites, suppliers, and depots
• Carry out local and regional driving in accordance with German road traffic laws and EU driver regulations
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures
• Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with load restraint and weight regulations
• Maintain delivery documentation, tachograph records, and basic transport paperwork
• Load and unload materials manually or using mechanical aids
• Distribute materials, pipework, containment, and equipment on active construction sites
• Represent the company professionally when attending client sites

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Valid EU / German driving licence – Category C
• Authorisation to work in Germany
• Experience driving rigid trucks in construction or industrial environments
