RxREVU, Inc. seeks a Transportation Clerk/Assistant to ensure continuity in passenger service for DoD travelers using AMC aircraft for official and leisure travel.

To provide continuity in all facets of Passenger Service operations while providing the best in customer service for DoD eligible travelers utilizing Air Mobility Command (AMC) aircraft for official and or leisure travel.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Positions, Transportation Clerk and Assistant Series, 2102.
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of established transportation or traffic management guidelines to perform a full range of transportation support duties such as (1) receiving, processing, and manifesting passengers (2) controlling the movement of passengers by utilizing manifest or opportune airlift (3) providing counter service and information to passengers arriving, transiting, or departing this port and d (4) providing incidental transportation and services for passengers and baggage associated with air transportation. Knowledge of standardized transportation instructions, regulations, procedures, and operations to perform a full range of standard transportation clerical duties and resolve recurring problems pertaining to the passenger function. Knowledge of the structure and content of transportation documentation (e.g., visas, travel orders, flight manifest) to investigate and resolve routine or recurring discrepancies, check documents for adequacy, or perform comparable actions that are covered by established procedures.
Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-04 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-05 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
