Samsung SDS Smart Logistics in Magdeburg is seeking Commercial Employees (m/f/d) in Transport Coordination / Dispatchers as Coordinators to support daily logistics operations. You will organize shipments, liaise with customers and freight forwarders, process orders, and monitor deliveries with emphasis on on-time performance.

A commercial training is required; German fluency and basic English are expected, with proficiency in dispatch software and MS Office.

Tasks

• Point of contact for customers and logistics service providers
• Organization and planning of goods transport
• Order processing, including delivery planning
• Monitoring deliveries and ensuring on-time delivery
• Communication with the warehouse and slot bookings with customers
• Coordination of logistics service providers / freight forwarders
• Optimization of transport efficiency and costs
• Preparation of KPI reports for customers and management
• Updating and maintaining the Transport Management System
• Complaint and returns management

Requirements

• Completed commercial training/apprenticeship, ideally as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen), warehouse logistics specialist, or comparable; other commercial training backgrounds or relevant professional experience are also welcome
• Professional experience in the logistics services industry / freight forwarding desirable
• Experience with software-supported dispatching
• Strong organizational skillsVery good knowledge of spreadsheet programs [good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)]
• Fluent German and no reluctance to work in English
