A global sustainability consulting firm is seeking a Partner in Germany to lead commercial growth in the energy sector. The role involves driving sales, managing client relationships, and providing innovative consulting solutions in low carbon energy. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science and extensive knowledge of the German energy market. This opportunity offers equity ownership and significant rewards in a global firm.
ERM, a global leader in sustainability consulting, is seeking a dynamic Germany-based Partner to grow our end-to-end service offering across the energy project lifecycle (from concept through financing, consenting, construction, O&M and decommissioning) in transmission and distribution.
ERM in Germany
Since established in 1989, ERM Germany has enjoyed steady growth and now employs over 150 people based across multiple locations. Our Capital Projects Delivery (CPD) team delivers technically challenging environmental and social impact studies (EIA’s and ESIA’s) for large infrastructure projects and supports key decisions on project financing and green-field development investments with a diverse client base including domestic companies, large German and European banks, international lending organisations and corporate clients.
As a Partner at ERM, you will drive our strategic direction and commercial growth within Germany and the surrounding regions (DACH). Your focus will be primarily on transmission infrastructure. Ideally you will have an understanding of energy transition projects within the German market. Leveraging extensive client relationships with TSO\'s and major energy clients (developers and investors) and a deep understanding of the low carbon energy transition, you will develop and expand trusted client relationships, generate new business, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact sustainability-led solutions. These responsibilities reflect the dual commitments of driving growth and providing governance in project delivery. You will need an understanding of German planning laws, permitting regulations and environmental impact assessments to have full oversight of the life-cycle of our projects.
This is a Partner opportunity. Our partnership model differentiates ERM by providing leaders with meaningful equity ownership and significant financial and intangible rewards within a truly global firm.
We aim to build an inclusive culture by identifying, acquiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce that reflects the diverse global marketplace in which we operate. If you share our values and passion for sustainability and are interested in this role, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter (in English) including salary expectations.
ERM does not accept recruiting agency resumes. Please do not forward resumes to our jobs alias, ERM employees or any other company location. ERM is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
