WSS Associates is seeking a Transaction Analyst in Berlin to join the Transactions team on a hands-on real estate investment track. You will work across acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in offices, hotels, residential, logistics, and development sectors.

The role targets candidates with roughly 1–3 years in real estate analysis, strong Excel skills, and a solid grounding in underwriting and investment analysis to support full deal lifecycle from screening to closing.

Qualifikationen

• Strong Excel skills and experience building and validating financial models.
• Ability to perform DCF, IRR and cash flow analyses with scenario/risk testing.

We are working with a leading European real estate investment platform seeking a Transaction Analyst to join its Berlin-based Transactions team.

This is a hands-on investment role offering exposure to acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures across office, hotel, residential, logistics and development assets.

The role is suited to someone with approximately 1–3 years of relevant real estate experience, strong Excel skills and a solid grounding in underwriting and investment analysis.

The role

You will work closely with senior transaction professionals and support the full deal lifecycle, from initial opportunity screening through to signing and closing.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining Excel-based financial models
• Supporting the underwriting of acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities
• Preparing DCF, IRR, cash flow and sensitivity analyses
• Stress-testing assumptions and evaluating downside scenarios
• Identifying key investment risks and opportunities
• Supporting financial, commercial, legal and technical due diligence
• Coordinating advisers, data rooms and internal stakeholders
• Preparing investment papers, transaction summaries and presentation materials
• Conducting market research, comparable analysis and deal screening
• Supporting transaction execution and closing processes
• Maintaining deal pipeline and transaction tracking tools

Your background

We are looking for candidates with approximately 1–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Real estate transactions or acquisitions

Candidates must have practical exposure to real estate financial analysis, underwriting, valuation or transaction processes.

Essential skills
