Qualifications

• Advanced programming skills and system development experience.
• Experience with toolchains and/or wearables and/or hardware design automation.
• Interest in ubiquitous/wearable computing and AI and hardware research.

Toolchain for Wearable Computing and Hardware Development (full time, E13 payment)

We are offering a PhD position focused on developing toolchains to accelerate research and development in Wearable Computing. We currently are developing two tool chains: for data collection and machine learning for wearable computing, and for Chat-based hardware design automation. Candidates should have a Master's degree in computer science or a related field with a strong background in ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and/or on hardware design. In both cases excellent programming skills and system development skills are required.
