Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training) to join a fully remote, flexible hourly contract. You will work with leading AI labs, applying adversary tracking, campaign analysis, and CTI workflows to train and evaluate AI models for cybersecurity threats.

You will analyze threat reports and IC data, validating IOCs, TTPs, and attack narratives to ensure accuracy and realism in AI outputs. This role offers autonomy and the chance to influence frontier AI systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attack behavior.
• Evaluate indicators of compromise (IOCs), TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and benchmark AI systems.
• Review AI-generated cybersecurity outputs and assess them for technical accuracy and realism.
• Apply knowledge of attacker tradecraft to distinguish authentic threat behavior from noise or fabricated scenarios.

About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more capable AI systems — and we need seasoned threat intelligence professionals to help make it happen. As a Threat Intelligence Analyst on this project, you'll apply your real-world expertise in adversary tracking, campaign analysis, and CTI workflows to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Your work will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity threats.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on your terms.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attack behavior
• Evaluate indicators of compromise (IOCs), TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and completeness
• Generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and benchmark AI systems

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research
• Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK, OSINT collection methods, or CTI production workflows
• Able to critically evaluate threat data and identify what's real, relevant, and actionable
• Strong analytical and written communication skills — you can explain complex threats clearly
• Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience writing or editing threat intelligence reports for technical audiences
• Background in red team, malware analysis, or incident response
• Familiarity with AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
