Zusammenfassung

Reflex Aerospace seeks a skilled Thermal Engineer to join our team in Germany. You will contribute to the thermal design of satellites, develop models, and support testing to ensure components stay within temperature limits throughout missions.

You will work with a cross-functional team, advise on material choices, and help prepare technical documentation while collaborating with external vendors to optimize thermal performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing.
• Knowledge of satellite design and subsystems lifecycle.
• Proficiency with thermal modeling tools such as Simcenter 3D.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication skills.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Thermal Engineer to join our team. As a member of a cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in our satellite design, ensuring optimal thermal performance in the harsh and variable space environment. You will contribute to the top-level design and requirement definition. Your expertise in thermal engineering will be invaluable in ensuring that all satellite components operate within temperature limits throughout their mission lifecycle.

Your Mission:

• Responsible for analysis, conceptual sizing and design of thermal control system
• Develop thermal models and conduct analyses to predict satellite thermal performance.
• Support thermal and thermal-vacuum testing of satellites and satellite sub-systems.
• Provide consultation to hardware developers in design decisions and material selection.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
• Manage thermal interfaces with external vendors and partners to ensure optimal thermal system performance.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing.
• Knowledge of the design and lifecycle of satellites and their subsystems.
• Proficiency in thermal modeling and simulation tools such as Simcenter 3D.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
