Zusammenfassung

Reflex Aerospace seeks a Hardware Development Engineer to design and validate electronics for spacecraft sub-systems in a Berlin-based team. You will work on power electronics, DC-DC converters, battery management and distribution, driving components from concept to flight-ready hardware.

You will perform schematic capture, PCB layout, simulations, and board bring-up, while ensuring power and signal integrity under space-like conditions. The role offers hybrid work and a long-term growth path.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related field; 5+ years hardware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout and board bring-up.
• Power electronics design experience: switch-mode supplies, magnetics, control loops.
• Experience with stability analysis and compensation networks.
• Familiarity with space applications reliability/derating is a plus.
• Proficient use of lab equipment: scopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers.

Your Mission:

• Development of electronics for spacecraft sub-systems as part of an interdisciplinary team. In particular power electronics systems (DC-DC converters, battery management, power distribution units, motor drives where applicable).
• Component selection, circuit-level design, and simulation.
• Schematic capture and PCB Layout using Altium Designer.
• Power and signal integrity analysis and verification.
• Bring-up, testing, verification, and debugging of PCBs.
• Testing and space environment qualification of electronic sub-systems.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in electronics hardware development.
• Excellent knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and board bring-up.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in power electronics design (switch-mode power supplies - isolated and non-isolated converters, magnetics, control loops).
• Practical experience in stability analysis, including phase and gain measurement and compensation network design and tuning.
• Knowledge of worst-case, reliability, and derating analyses for space applications is a plus.
• Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, etc.
