A leading telecommunications company is seeking a thermal engineer to join their Electro Optics Module Design team in Germany. The role involves thermal and thermo-mechanical simulation to ensure product functionality and reliability, collaborating closely with various internal and external teams. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, proficiency in thermal design, and an analytical mindset. Fluent English is required, while German is a plus. The position offers a hybrid work environment.

The Subsystems team develops leading edge optical transmission modules for access, metro and long-haul customer application. It consists of a variety of talents in the area of hardware and firmware development.
As part of our team you will be contributing to all fields of thermal and thermo-mechanical aspects within the whole product life cycle. This consists of finding concepts, making feasibility studies, optimizing mechanical designs and many more. Your focus will be modelling, simulation & validation. The goal is to find state-of-the art thermal solutions for our Subsystems modules to ensure functionality and reliability of our products at the end customers.
