Requirements include several years of instructional experience, a related college degree, strong teaching and adult-education skills, and fluency in English; MS Office proficiency is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience as a theory or flight instructor in civilian or military pilot training
• A college degree in at least one of the listed fields
• Preferably several years of experience in teaching and instruction

• Interpersonal skills and ability to guide and motivate people
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new tasks
• Very good English skills
• Proficiency in MS Office

Tasks

• You will teach various subjects as part of the German Air Force’s basic flight training (Initial Flight Training)
• In doing so, you will lay the foundation for further training within a complex training system and work with young officers and officer candidates who undergo four weeks of theoretical training in classes of approximately 8 students before completing their first flight hours
• The subjects taught include: aircraft engineering and propulsion, navigation, air law, communication, meteorology, human performance limitations, aerodynamics, and aircraft performance
