Job summary

certoplast Technische Klebebänder GmbH, a global manufacturer of technical adhesive tapes, seeks a Textile engineer for research and development in NRW. You will drive projects in adhesive tape development, test new carrier materials, document results and make data-driven decisions.

You will also select adhesives and support supplier projects and production trials. Strong English skills and a proactive, independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemical/textile engineering is required.
• First professional experience is desirable (e.g. working student activities).
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Self-driven, independent and responsible work.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of projects in the field of adhesive tape development.
• Testing new carrier materials.
• Documentation of the tests performed and decision-making based on the test results.
• Selection of adhesives.
• Support for supplier projects.
• Support for production trials.
