Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Bayern sucht einen Testability Engineer Eurodrone (d/f/m) zur Unterstützung des Teams Supp. Engineering Trsp./Miss. GE. Die Rolle fokussiert sich auf Testbarkeit, Beobachtbarkeit und Diagnostik, um MTTR zu minimieren und Kosten zu optimieren.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Design Offices, Kunden und anderen Disziplinen zusammen, erstellen BIT-Dokumentationen und nehmen an Design Reviews teil. Reisebereitschaft wird erwartet.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder Vergleichbares.
• Kenntnisse zu IPS/ILS-Prozessen und Verfahren.
• Erfahrung mit Bundeswehr- oder NATO-Projekten wünschenswert.
• Strukturierte und analytische Arbeitsweise.
• Technisches Verständnis auf hoher Ebene.
• Bereitschaft zu nationaler und internationaler Reisetätigkeit.
• Deutsch und Englisch fließend.

Aufgaben

• Unterstützung der Konstruktionsbüros bei der Bewertung technischer Alternativen und Trade-off-Studien.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Design den Testability-Zielvorgaben entspricht und alle Anforderungen erfüllt.
• Testability-Designabgleich mit relevanten Stakeholdern.
• Erstellung von BIT-Konzepten und technischer Dokumentation.
• Teilnahme an Design Reviews mit Design Office und Kunden.
• Vertretung der Testability innerhalb interdisziplinärer Teams.
• Unterstützung anderer Bereiche im Kundenservice (ILS, Technische Publikationen, Materiel Services).
• Verantwortung für Testability-Daten in Logistikdatenbanken.
• Vorbereitung und Erstellung von Testability-Verfahren, Richtlinien und Berichten.

In order to support our team Supp. Engineering Trsp./Miss. GE, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Testability Engineer Eurodrone (d/f/m)

Testability as a discipline of RAMT, is the design effort to ensure that a system's condition and faults can be detected and isolated with minimal effort and time. It focuses on maximizing observability through sensors and interfaces and enhancing diagnostic capability through Built-In Test Equipment (BITE).

The mission of Testability is to maximize the visibility and transparency of a system's internal state through intentional design. This is achieved by integrating diagnostic functions, sensors and standardized interfaces to ensure that fault identification, isolation and verification are performed with maximum speed, precision and cost-efficiency. The overall target is minimizing MTTR and diagnostic costs.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Support design offices in making informed decisions through the evaluation of technical alternatives and the application of formal trade-off studies
• Verify that the design complies with the Testability target specification and all allocated requirements
• Testability design cross check with impacted stakeholders
• Perform Testability and produce engineering design documentation (BIT concept document)
• Attend Design Reviews with Design Office and Customers
• Representation of Testability discipline within multi-disciplinary design teams
• Support to other areas in Customer Services (ILS, Technical Publications, Materiel Services)
• Responsible for Testability data in Logistics Data Bases
• Prepare and developed Testability procedures, guidelines and technical reports for the customer

Desired skills and qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS / ILS) processes and procedures
• Experience with Bundeswehr or NATO projects desirable
• Structured and analytical mindset
• Strong technical understanding
• Committed, independent, proactive, and team-oriented approach to work
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Proficiency in German and English is required
