Testability as a discipline of RAMT is the design effort to ensure that a system's condition and faults can be detected and isolated with minimal effort and time. It focuses on maximizing observability through sensors and interfaces and enhancing diagnostic capability through Built-In Test Equipment (BITE).
The mission of Testability is to maximize the visibility and transparency of a system's internal state through intentional design. This is achieved by integrating diagnostic functions, sensors and standardized interfaces to ensure that fault identification, isolation and verification are performed with maximum speed, precision and cost-efficiency. The overall target is minimizing MTTR and diagnostic costs.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.
