Job summary

Nagarro in Stuttgart is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain test rigs, fixtures, simulators, and measurement setups. You will configure PLC systems, sensors, actuators, and hardware‑near test tools to enable reliable validation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in mechatronics or test engineering, strong troubleshooting, and fluent English and German.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mechatronics, test/automation engineering, or system integration.
• Hands-on PLC experience with sensors, actuators, and measurement devices.
• Experience with simulators, emulators, and hardware-near test tools.
• Experience with qualification of test equipment in quality-driven environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills.
• Very good English and German; on-site in Stuttgart.

Job Description

• Design, build, adapt, and maintain test rigs, fixtures, simulators, emulators, and measurement setups.
• Configure and support PLC systems, hardware/software integration, sensors, actuators, and measurement equipment.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and support the integration of test equipment and components.
• Ensure test equipment readiness through configuration management, servicing, maintenance, and technical documentation.
• Execute equipment qualification activities and assess change impacts before formal verification phases.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and verification teams to ensure stable and reliable test environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechatronics, test engineering, automation engineering, or system integration.
• Hands‑on PLC experience and strong practical knowledge of sensors, actuators, measurement devices, and mechanical fixtures.
• Experience developing, adapting, or maintaining simulators, emulators, and hardware‑near test tools.
• Practical experience with test equipment qualification in a regulated or quality‑driven environment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and structured problem‑solving approach.
• Very goodEnglish and German and full on-site deployment capability.
