Allied Vision Italy is seeking a Test Manager (m/f/d) to lead verification and validation activities for camera development in Osnabrück or Ahrensburg.

You will plan resources, schedules, and priorities with development, product management and QA; set up test systems, create test cases, and report results; require ISTQB, Python, and experience with Windows/Linux test environments.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in verification and validation of hardware and software products.
• Experience in industrial environments compliant with ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of analogue and digital measurement technology, reliability and certification testing.
• Experience with Windows- and Linux-based test systems.
• Knowledge of test automation with Python.
• Experience in the field of industrial image processing systems.
• ISTQB certification.
• Experience in project and quality management.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.

Aufgaben

• Managing and coordinating testing activities in development projects.
• Planning resources, deadlines and priorities in close collaboration with development, product management and quality assurance.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring that testing activities are carried out on schedule.
• Planning, carrying out and documenting tests for system verification and product validation of camera prototypes and camera accessories.
• Assessing and ensuring transparency regarding the quality status of hardware and software systems during the development process.
• Conducting reviews of requirements and specification documents.
• Creating test cases and test descriptions for manual and automated tests.
• Analysing, documenting and reporting test results.
• Assisting with the design, documentation and set-up of new test systems.
• Maintaining test systems and test laboratories.
• Calibrating and managing measuring and testing equipment.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of test methods, test processes and test infrastructures.

Your profile

• Several years’ professional experience in the verification and validation of hardware and software products, ideally in an industrial environment compliant with ISO 9001
• In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital measurement technology, as well as reliability and certification testing of electronic products
• Experience in setting up and operating Windows- and Linux-based test systems
• Knowledge of test automation using Python
• Experience in the field of industrial image processing systems
• Knowledge of established testing and test management methods, ideally with ISTQB certification
• Experience in project and quality management
• Very good written and spoken German and English
