9amHealth is seeking a telemedicine physician to conduct synchronous telehealth consultations for cardiometabolic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. You will review histories, provide medical recommendations, and document encounters in the EHR during each visit.

The role requires an active California medical license, board certification in a relevant specialty, and comfort with a 1099 per-session compensation model.

Qualifikationen

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Must have active medical license in the state of California.
• Active board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine, or related specialty.
• Experience treating cardiometabolic conditions including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver care virtually.
• Prior telemedicine experience preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be comfortable with a 1099 compensation structure paid per session.
• Must be able to commit to 10–15 hours per week, with current high demand Monday–Friday, 3p–8p local time, plus possible weekend coverage.

Conduct synchronous telehealth consultations with patients as scheduled by 9amHealth for diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia. Perform medical assessments appropriate to each encounter. Review patient histories and address patient concerns within the scope of the appointment. Provide medical recommendations, prescriptions, or referrals as appropriate and consistent with state licensure and standards of care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters in 9amHealth’s electronic health record system, limited to information generated during the synchronous visit. Provide real-time virtual medical consultations for patients with cardiometabolic conditions.
