GE Vernova is seeking a Telecom Lead Engineer to design and integrate the communication backbone for HVDC/AC substation projects. You will lead network component integration, drive supplier delivery, and own in-house network design from design to delivery.
You will review designs, challenge supplier proposals, and ensure high-availability architectures with advanced routing, MPLS, DWDM, and VLAN configurations. Collaboration with internal teams and suppliers is essential.
Critical infrastructure doesn't run on good intentions — it runs on networks that never fail. As a Telecom Lead Engineer within GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business, you will be at the center of designing and integrating the communication backbone of some of the world's most complex high-voltage direct current (HVDC) and alternating current (AC) substation projects.
Your work ensures that every signal, every command, and every data exchange across these systems is reliable, secure, and built to last.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone (m/f/d) who combines deep technical expertise in local and wide-area networks with the ability to coordinate across suppliers, customers, and internal teams to bring complex designs to life.
