Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH is seeking a Technician in Power Electronics to support the development and setup of test benches for reliability testing. The role can be part-time or full-time and involves assembling test systems, creating KiCad diagrams, and documenting measurements.

You will contribute technical expertise in energy and automation tech, participate in safety checks, and help ensure high-quality test results for our customers.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as a state-certified electronics technician for devices and systems, or an equivalent qualification with a focus on reliability tests.
• Experience in reliability tests for power electronic components, systems and measurement/test setups.
• Strong MS Office and KiCad skills and knowledge in electronics design.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and set up test systems per project manager’s specifications and document results.
• Create circuit diagrams and layouts in KiCad.
• Assist in measurements for test procedure control, including plausibility checks and safety checks.
• Document measurements and results.
• Design electrical circuits including layout, dimensioning, component selection, assembly and commissioning.

We are looking for a Technician in Power Electronics (m/f/d) in part-time or full-time, who will assist in the development and setup of test benches for reliability testing. You will contribute your technical expertise and skills to ensure our clients receive optimal service and that challenges are addressed in a solutions-oriented way.

About Us

We are a young and dynamic company founded in November 2021 as a spin-off from the Chair of Power Electronics at Chemnitz University of Technology. We specialize in providing advanced testing services for power semiconductors. In addition to conducting reliability tests and developing test benches for our customers, we are actively engaged in an EU-funded project and maintain close collaboration with the Chair of Power Electronics on research initiatives. By driving modern technologies such as electromobility and renewable energy, we contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and are poised for further growth.

Your Tasks

• Assembly and setup of test systems according to the project manager’s specifications, followed by documentation
• Creation of circuit diagrams/layouts in KiCad
• Assistance in conducting measurements for test procedure control (plausibility of measurements, technical inspection, safety checks)
• Documentation of measurements
• Designing electrical circuits, including layout, dimensioning, component selection, assembly and commissioning

Your Profile

• Completed training as a state-certified electronics technician for devices and systems, or an equivalent qualification with a focus on:
• Managing reliability tests for power electronic components, systems and measurement/test setups, or
• Hardware design and circuit design
• Extensive knowledge in the fields of energy and automation technology
• Very good skills in MS Office applications, as well as layout programs like KiCad
• Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic
• Knowledge of German is a plus
