For our European Headquarters in Frankfurt am Main area (Offenbach) we are looking for an IT professional as:

Technical Specialist – Connected Car (f/m/d)

As a Connected Car Technical Specialist, you will be an integral member of our Automotive Connected Car IT team. In this role, you will support the Hyundai, KIA, and Genesis connectivity division by maintaining and optimizing the car connectivity applications that align with our customer business objectives. Success in this position requires a strong technical understanding of car connectivity systems and applications, enabling you to ensure seamless and reliable connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as a key contact to our European stakeholders as technical support for Connected Car Services.
• Troubleshooting customer issues reported by the service teams through a ticketing system.
• Supporting the technical team test (internal, external).
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting E2E (from app to vehicle).
• Supporting enhancement project and launching new feature of vehicle as backend cloud operation.
• Providing CCS technical knowledge as customer service view.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• Hands‑on prior experience in JIRA or ServiceNow project management tools.
• 2+ years of development or technical support experience.
• Programming language experience in supporting applications (SQL, Java/.NET/C#/Perl/Python, etc.).
• Understanding of XML/SOAP, web services, web application development.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the foundations of IT security.
• Understanding of automotive B2C business.
• Strong English language skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel to other EU countries as required.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Connected vehicle services and applications.
• Knowledge of IoT related connectivity protocols such as HTTPS, TCP/IP, REST, MQTT, AMQP, WebSocket, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi.
