We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Engineer who will play a pivotal role in deploying and supporting Maltego solutions for our strategic customers, including government and public sector clients. Your work will ensure that these organizations can seamlessly integrate Maltego into their environments and maximize its value for critical investigations, with a focus on secure, compliant, and scalable architectures.

What to expect

As a Technical Solutions Engineer in our Custom Engineering team, you will focus on deploying and integrating Maltego solutions in enterprise and public-sector environments. You’ll work closely with strategic customers to understand their requirements, design secure architectures, and deliver tailored integrations that meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance.
You will act as a trusted advisor throughout complex projects, leading technical discussions, defining integration approaches, and ensuring smooth delivery from concept to rollout. You will also be responsible for developing custom “Transforms”, pieces of code that connect Maltego Graph to external data sources, enabling investigators to pull and analyze data directly within the platform.
This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing collaboration. You’ll be solving complex challenges, deploying Maltego in diverse environments, and acting as a trusted advisor for our most important clients. Success in this role requires curiosity, creative problem-solving, and a willingness to explore new technical terrain.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Act as technical pointof contact for customers and partners during solution implementation projects.
• Gather customer needs and define integration approaches through requirements discussions and technical workshops.
• Design and implement end-to-end solution architectures that integrate Maltego withclient systems and third-party components.
• Ensure solutionsmeet standards forscalability, performance, and security compliance for high-security or regulated environments.
• Clarify anddocumentinterfaces between solution components,ensuringspecificationsare complete andaccuratefor seamless interoperability.
• DeployMaltegosolutions in enterprise and public-sector environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Configure andoptimizeMaltegoinstallations to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Developintegrations and Transforms using Python, working with data provided through RESTful APIs, databases, and otherdatasources.
• Coordinate with internal development, engineering, and product teams to guide implementation of custom features or integrations.
• Oversee technical delivery, including configuration, testing, and deployment, and proactively resolve architectural or integration issues.
• Provide advanced technical support during pilot phases and initial rollout, ensuring smooth handover to support teams.
• Collaborate with customers toidentifyintegration opportunities and enhance investigative workflows.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring feedback drives product improvements.

Your profile in short

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or system integration roles, preferably in enterprise or public-sector software projects
• Strong experience in Python development and writing API connectors.
• Skilled in enterprise-level deployments, database integrations, and distributed systems
• Technical understanding of virtual machines, Containerization, and cloud hosting
• Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system architecture, with experience in high-security or regulated environments
• Project leadership skills: capable of driving architecture from concept to reality, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing stakeholder expectations
• Interest in OSINT and Cyber security
• Highself-motivationandstrong communicationskills
• Fluent in Englishand German
• Willingness to obtain necessary security clearances ifrequired
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally across Europe to visit customer sites as needed
