Qualifikationen

  • 7+ years of premium audit or insurance audit experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the NCCI, WCRIB and ISO manuals.
  • APA certification is a plus.
  • NEXUSAudit knowledge and experience is highly preferred.

  • Serve as a technical resource to premium auditors and liaise with underwriting, accounting and collections.
  • Review audits for accuracy and compliance, and suggest improvements.
  • Address and respond to bureau criticisms and oversee Test Audit Programs and bureau reporting.
  • Conduct audits on complex Commercial Lines policies (WC, GL and auto) with financial analysis of payroll, taxes and ledgers.
  • Validate correct class codes per regulatory guidelines for premium accuracy.

Title: Technical Service Specialist

Department/Function: Operations

Position Overview
We are seeking a PAD Technical Service Specialist to join our company’s team. Reporting to the Technical Services / Operations Manager, the Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for quality reviews, procedure writing, data analytics and departmental adherence to regulatory / compliance guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of Premium Audit processes, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. This role requires completion of audits along with Technical Service Responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Train, coach, and motivate staff by adhering to performance objectives and goals within the department and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Serve as a technical resource to the premium auditors and act as a liaison with other departments, such as underwriting, accounting, and collections.
  • Review audits to ensure that they are completed accurately and in compliance with guidelines and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Address and respond to bureau criticism, oversight of the Test Audit Programs and bureau reporting.
  • Conduct audits on highly complex Commercial Lines policies (WC, GL and auto) which entails a thorough review of the insureds operations and analysis of financial records. Documents include payroll records, tax returns/filings, general/expense ledgers to determine final exposures.
  • Validates that the correct class codes are applied and are in accordance with governing regulatory agencies, independent state bureaus and company procedures to ensure premium accuracy and compliance requirements.
  • Cultivate effective business relationships, internally and externally, to fulfill client expectations while addressing business needs in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate with business partners in timely manner to address disputes, escalations and/or business need requests.

Job Requirements

  • High degree of experience and technical knowledge of the NCCI, WCRIB and ISO manual
  • Strong decision-making ability on complex audit handling scenarios while balancing bureau rules/regulations.
  • 7+ years of premium audit or insurance audit experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Superior organization, attention to detail and workload management skills.
  • Experience thriving working in a remote environment.
  • APA certification a plus
  • NEXUSAudit™ knowledge and experience highly preferred.
