Qualifikationen

• At least four years of experience in data science, NLP, machine learning, or generative AI.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing NLP- and LLM-based systems.
• Experience in designing software and cloud solutions for Generative AI.
• Familiar with NLP tools, frameworks, and methods, including LLM APIs.
• Solid experience with modern ML frameworks like PyTorch.
• Ability to write clean, performant, and scalable code.
• Experience designing cloud architectures and MLOps workflows.
• Confidence in communicating complex topics effectively.
• Structured, independent, and quality-oriented work style.
• Very good German and English skills at C1 level.

Your tasks

• You work as a technical lead on high-impact customer projects and design Generative AI and NLP systems that address customer requirements in terms of performance, latency, cost, scalability, and overall system complexity
• You design cloud and software solutions for Generative AI and Agentic AI and take end-to-end responsibility for them in terms of functionality, maintainability, security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
• You regularly collaborate with internal stakeholders and customer representatives, ensure close alignment, present technical concepts, and handle technical communication during proposal and acquisition phases
• You guide less experienced team members, actively support their work, and provide constructive feedback and mentorship
• You support the of internal products, contribute to expanding our service portfolio, and assist in creating technical marketing and thought leadership content
• You continuously follow the latest developments in NLP and AI, including new methods, tools, frameworks, and research, and apply this knowledge to deliver modern, robust, and sustainable customer solutions

Your profile

• You bring at least four years of solid professional experience in data science, NLP, machine learning, or generative AI
• You have strong expertise in designing and implementing NLP- and LLM-based systems and have applied them successfully in production environments
• You are experienced in designing software and cloud solutions across different environments, particularly for Generative AI and Agentic AI use cases
• You have experience with common tools, frameworks, and methods for NLP use cases, including LLM APIs, agent frameworks, vector databases, retrieval approaches, and evaluation techniques
• You have solid experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch and with fine-tuning, post-training, and inference-time optimization techniques
• You are able to write clean, performant, and scalable code and reliably bring AI systems into production
• You have experience designing cloud-based architectures and working with MLOps and deployment workflows on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• You are confident acting as a technical counterpart to customers and can communicate complex topics effectively to both technical and business audiences
• You work in a structured, independent, and quality-oriented manner and remain effective in complex project settings
• You have very good German and English skills at least at C1 level
