Job summary

Infoplus Technologies UK Limited is looking for an experienced Technical Lead to drive the development of our mobile app solution. You will translate requirements into concrete technical designs and coordinate technical dependencies across React Native, native iOS/Android, WebViews, App BFF and backend services.

You will lead the creation of implementable work packages, ensure performance, security, stability and observability, and support engineering teams across multiple components and teams

Qualifications

• Six+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into concrete technical designs and implementation concepts.
• Experience in digital industries with complex customer journeys is a plus.
• Strong understanding of modern mobile and backend app architectures.
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and technology domains.

Responsibilities

• Own creation and documentation of technical designs for the app solution.
• Define and coordinate technical solutions across React Native, WebViews, App BFF and backend integrations.
• Break down designs into implementable work packages and clarify dependencies.
• Drive technical refinements and ensure requirements are understood and prepared for implementation.
• Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, security, stability, observability) are addressed across components.
• Coordinate decisions with Application Architects, developers, Product Owners and dependent teams.
• Identify risks and drive resolution.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join the development of our mobile app solution.

You will work in a cross-functional engineering environment supporting a large-scale, multi-brand customer application based on a hybrid architecture combining React Native, native iOS/Android capabilities, WebViews, App BFF and backend services.

Your key responsibility will be to translate functional requirements and architectural principles into concrete technical designs for the app solution, coordinate technical dependencies across the involved components and support the engineering teams during implementation.

Your responsibilities

• Own the creation and documentation of the concrete technical designs for the app solution based on functional requirements and architectural guardrails
• Define and coordinate technical solutions across React Native, WebViews, App BFF and relevant backend integrations
• Break down technical designs into implementable work packages and clarify dependencies between involved components and teams
• Drive technical refinements and ensure requirements are sufficiently understood and technically prepared for implementation
• Ensure non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, security, stability and observability) are technically achievable and consistently addressed across components
• Ensure the agreed architecture and technical designs are consistently implemented across the involved components Coordinate technical decisions and open topics with Application Architects, developers, Product Owners and dependent engineering teams
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and implementation constraints early and drive their resolution
• Support developers during implementation and ensure agreed technical solutions are applied consistently
• Support the analysis and resolution of complex cross-component and production issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, technical quality and delivery efficiency

Your profile

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, technical design or comparable technical roles
• Strong experience translating functional requirements into concrete technical designs and implementation concepts
• Experience in digital industries with complex customer journeys such as telecommunications, banking, insurance, utilities or e-commerce
• Strong understanding of modern mobile and backend application architectures
• Strong technical understanding across React Native, native mobile platforms, WebViews, REST APIs and Backend-for-Frontend patterns — sufficient to make and defend implementation decisions across these layers
• Experience working with complex integration landscapes and distributed systems
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth2 and OIDC
• Experience coordinating technical solutions across multiple teams and technology domains
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to structure complex technical topics and make pragmatic decisions
• Ability to communicate technical solutions and trade‑offs clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working in agile, cross‑functional and international development environments
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus
