As a Technical Integration Specialist, you will help e-commerce businesses seamlessly connect their websites and mobile applications to an advanced search and product discovery platform. You will combine technical troubleshooting, API expertise, and customer support to guide clients through successful integrations. Working closely with customers and Customer Success teams, you will resolve technical challenges, optimize product catalog configurations, and ensure reliable search experiences. You will also help improve onboarding processes and technical documentation, making integrations more efficient and accessible. Accountabilities

• Customer onboarding and integration support: Guide e-commerce customers through the integration process, understand their technical requirements, and help connect their websites and mobile applications to the platform.

• API and library guidance: Provide clear technical guidance on REST APIs, integration best practices, and the use of open-source libraries.

• Technical troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve integration challenges in collaboration with Customer Success teams and other technical specialists.

• Product catalog and index configuration: Assist customers with uploading and configuring catalog data, including facets, searchable attributes, sorting options, and retrieving relevant search results.

• Customer communication: Act as a key technical contact for customers, responding promptly to inquiries and explaining technical concepts in a clear, accessible way.

• Documentation and knowledge sharing: Document customer interactions, recurring issues, and resolutions while improving integration guides and onboarding materials.

• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline technical support workflows, improve onboarding practices, and enhance the overall customer experience.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams to address complex technical questions and ensure customers receive effective, timely support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in customer support, technical support, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Understanding of REST-based web services, APIs, and common integration best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.

• A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering responsive, high-quality support.

• Familiarity with structured data formats such as JSON and CSV, along with basic search and indexing concepts, is an advantage.

• Experience using debugging tools such as browser developer tools, API clients like Postman, and application logs is beneficial.

• Knowledge of A/B testing, client-side and server-side contexts, HTTP, and network request routing is desirable.

• Familiarity with open-source libraries, JavaScript web application development, and integration patterns is a plus.

• Ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop expertise in e-commerce search, product discovery, and platform integrations.

• Competitive compensation: The advertised base salary is $70,000–$90,000 USD, depending on skills, knowledge, experience, and interview results. Compensation and employment arrangements applicable to Switzerland should be confirmed during recruitment.
