The Engineering Project Manager supports the EUCOM Chief Engineer in planning, coordinating, tracking, and administering IT initiatives across USEUCOM. This position serves as the administrative backbone of the engineering department, ensuring projects are properly scoped, estimated, documented, funded, tracked, and reported.
The Engineering Project Manager works closely with engineers, architects, project managers, operations personnel, and government stakeholders to transform technical requirements into actionable project plans and resource estimates. The position is responsible for coordinating engineering activities, developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, maintaining engineering documentation, and producing executive-level reporting. This role is not expected to perform hands‑on engineering but must possess sufficient technical understanding to communicate effectively with engineering teams and translate technical efforts into programmatic and financial impacts.
