Jobtailor seeks a Chief Operating Officer to take strategic and operational responsibility for its track and cable civil engineering business unit. You will lead the technical and operational team, optimize workflows, and ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with executive management, support bid preparation, and represent the company to clients and authorities across Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in civil engineering or related field, ideally with track construction specialization.
• Several years in technical leadership in railway/track construction.
• Solid knowledge of construction contract law (VOB).
• Familiarity with Deutsche Bahn procedure/specification standards.
• Knowledge of project management and work preparation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• High initiative, resilience and decisiveness.
• Willingness to travel within Germany.

Requirements
