Implico Group in Hamburg is seeking a Technical Architect – Public Cloud to shape the design of our cloud-native product line using Node.js. The role involves creating scalable architectures for AI-integration, collaborating with engineering teams, and establishing design governance standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud environments, a robust technical background, and be comfortable working with modern technologies including SAP and microservices.

Your mission

As a Technical Architect – Public Cloud, you will be responsible for the technical design of our cloud-native product line based on modern Node.js architectures. You will design a scalable, AI-integrated platform architecture and ensure that our public cloud products are high-performance, modular and future-proof.

Your responsibility

Cloud-native architecture

• Design of microservices architectures
• API-first and event-driven architecture concepts
• Define service boundaries, data flows, and integration patterns
• Ensuring multi-tenant capability

AI integration in the product

• Technical architecture for AI features in the product
• Integration of LLMs or AI services within defined guardrails
• Performance and cost optimization of AI-driven features

DevOps & Deployment Architecture

• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Deployment Engineers
• Architecture Design for Containerization and Cloud Deployment

Design-Governance

• Creation of HLD, SDD and TDD up to Epic level
• Technical review and approval responsibility in the Architecture Board
• Organizational classification
• Embedded in the engineering function — Principal level — Part of the architecture board — Operates within the guardrails defined by the Enterprise Architect
