A renewable energy company in Karlsruhe is seeking a Teamlead IT - Datacenter & Infrastructure to oversee and develop the global IT infrastructure. This full-time position requires experience in IT infrastructure management, team leadership, and a strong understanding of networking and project management processes. You will ensure secure and high-performance operations while leading projects from concept to handover. The role offers flexible working hours and an excellent vacation package.

We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as Teamlead IT -Datacenter & Infrastructure (m/f/d).

Your mission

• You take overall responsibility for steering,operatingand continuously developing the global IT infrastructure, including data centers and networks (LAN, WAN, connectivity).
• You develop and implement the IT infrastructure, datacenterand network strategy, including target architectures and long-term roadmaps.
• You plan,manageand execute IT infrastructure and data center projects from concept phase through to operational handover.
• You ensurea highly available,secureand high‑performance IT infrastructure in alignment with Service Management and external service providers.
• You oversee backup, disasterrecoveryand business continuity concepts and ensuretheir effectiveimplementation.
• You drive knowledge transfer, changemanagementand user adoption for new systems,servicesand processes.
• Youparticipatein audits and risk assessments and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in close collaboration with IT Security.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in business informatics or a comparable qualification and bring experience in IT infrastructure management as well as data center and network operations.
• You have proven experience in leading teams and managing external service providers, complemented by a strong understanding of IT service,projectand management processes.
• Youmaintaina strong interest in new and emerging technologies, including networking,firewallsand service management tools.
• You work in a highly analytical,structuredand solution‑oriented manner.
• Youdemonstrateclear decision-making ability,assertivenessanda strong senseof responsibility.
• You are exceptionally well organized, resilient, and able to perform effectively in complex, dynamic environments.
• You communicate confidently with excellent presentation skills and are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
