Zusammenfassung

Wingcopter GmbH is seeking a manufacturing engineering leader to manage up to 10 production engineers and drive efficient, safe, and standardized processes across composites, trimming, painting, and assembly.

You will own work instructions, support quality and production teams, enable simultaneous engineering, and pursue cost reductions while developing industrialisation tooling. German and English communication is required.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 5+ years of proven manufacturing engineering experience.
• Catia and 3D software experience; MS Office; VBA a plus.
• Jira/Confluence proficiency; Linux and Python.
• Prince2 or equivalent project management certification.
• REFA method knowledge a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of up to 10 production and manufacturing engineers, ensuring effective task allocation and goal achievement.
• Analyze and improve production flow (composites, trimming, painting, assembly) by reducing effort, improving ergonomics, and resolving production issues.
• Improve production efficiency by reducing costs and material usage; implement standardisation and develop industrialisation equipment, tools, and jigs.
• Ensure effective simultaneous engineering across departments.
• Maintain process stability by owning work instructions and production documentation; perform process validation.
• Ensure product quality by supporting production and quality teams and maintaining safe, standardised, and efficient processes.
• Identify, document, and report unsafe practices and production issues.

Dein Profil

• You have an Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or equivalent professional qualification and 5+ years of proven experience in manufacturing engineering or similar.
• Your experience with Catia and 3D experience software as well as MS office is excellent; knoledge in VBA is a plus.
• In Jira and Confluence you have poficient knowledge and you are competent in Linux and Python.
• You have a project management certification in Prince2 or equivalent .
• Your knowledge in time studies for work method, work procedure and work condition is good; a REFA method certification (or similar) is a plus.
• You have superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• You can communicate at a sophisticated level in both German and English.
