Job summary

DERICHEBOURG Aeronautics Services GmbH is looking for a Team Leader to manage a polyvalent production team of 5 to 14 operators, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality, safety and FOD standards. You will keep the team motivated and provide the necessary means to meet targets.

You will organize planning, distribute workload, set objectives, enforce procedures, and report KPIs to the supervisor and customer. Strong English (C1) and experience with Airbus activities are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aeronautical environment (security, safety and quality measures).
• Experience in Airbus activities – 4 years minimum.
• Experience managing blue collars in manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with computer programs: MS Office, SAP, and Airbus internal tools.
• Knowledge of follow-up tools (TLB, QLB, etc).
• Customer-oriented approach (listening, supporting and delivering on time).
• Ability to detect and report non-conformities and ensure correction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize and manage human resources under responsibility.

• Ensure follow-up and control of tools/materials/vehicles.
• Ensure discipline within the team.
• Report to the manager deviations about standard, discipline, etc.
• In shift model: secure proper shift handover.
• Manage requests from team members.
• Secure operational surveillance.
• Ensure proper documentation of work orders / cleanliness of tools (SAP, Redmine).
• Operational supervisor: Operation Leader.

Your missions

The Team Leader manages a polyvalent production team of 5 to 14 operators executing work orders in good time and in line with quality, security and FOD standards. They keep the team motivated and guarantee to the team necessary means to reach targets:

Activities

• Prepare, organize and manage in an optimal way human resources under his responsibility


• Manage his activity planning and distribute the workload effectively


• Communicate and set team objectives


• Respect, apply and enforce internal and customer procedures


• Fill-in KPIs and common daily report of the work package to the supervisor and the customer


• Encourage daily meeting (SQCDP) & weekly meeting with the team


• Be responsible for the application of FOD and security rules


• Propose corrective actions


• Ensure follow up and control of tools/materials/vehicles


• Ensure discipline within the team


• Report to the manager deviations about standard, discipline, etc.


• In shift model: secure a proper shift handover


• Management of the request from the team members


• Secure operational surveillance


• Ensure proper documentation of work order/cleanliness of tools (SAP, Redmine)

Your profile

• Familiar with report writing (accurate and straight to the point)
