Trusted Shops in Germany is seeking a Team Lead SEO, GEO & Digital Trust to steer a multidisciplinary team across technical SEO, AI visibility, website experience, and digital trust. You will translate business objectives into a concrete roadmap and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Content and Marketing.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in technical SEO, website strategy, digital experience, or organic growth.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and leadership.
• Strong technical SEO expertise including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and log-file analysis.
• Good understanding of AI search, GEO, digital trust signals, and brand visibility.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sistrix, and GTM.

Home of our AI Visibility, SEO & Digital Trust function is the Marketing Department, where we strengthen Trusted Shops’ visibility, credibility, and machine-readability across digital ecosystems. As Team Lead – AI Visibility, SEO & Digital Trust, you will lead the team responsible for ensuring that both people and AI systems can understand, trust, and recommend Trusted Shops and its customers.

Team Lead SEO, GEO & Digital Trust (f/m/d)

Cologne (hybrid) or Berlin (remote) | Permanent Contract Full-time

Tasks

• Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across technical SEO, AI visibility, website experience, and digital trust. Define priorities and turn business objectives into a clear, actionable roadmap.
• AI Visibility & GEO: Shape Trusted Shops’ Generative Engine Optimization strategy and strengthen the visibility, credibility, and discoverability of Trusted Shops and its customers across AI search results, LLMs, and emerging agent ecosystems.
• Technical SEO & Digital Trust: Own the strategic direction for technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, website architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and machine readability. Strengthen digital trust signals across relevant platforms.
• Website Experience & Performance: Oversee the website as a key platform for visibility, trust, conversion, and business growth, working with Product, Engineering, Content, and Marketing to improve its overall performance.
• Analytics & Cross-Functional Leadership: Establish reporting frameworks using SEO, analytics, and AI-visibility tools, translate performance data into business recommendations, and lead cross-functional initiatives across key teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in technical SEO, website strategy, digital experience, or organic growth, ideally within SaaS, marketplace, or e-commerce environments.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and senior leadership.
• Strong technical SEO expertise, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and log-file analysis.
• Good understanding of AI search, GEO, digital trust signals, brand visibility, and how search engines and AI systems evaluate brands.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sistrix, and GTM, combined with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent English (C1) is a must, and fluent German is nice to have
